Lost in the darkness...

So I've been away for a few days, to the south of my country as we didn't have enough money to actually go abroad this time...
But hey, it was fun! And it gave me a good new idea for a roleplay plot as well (finally, I felt like I became the only one not posting an idea)!

I went to this velvet cave called the Fluweelengrot (fluweel is local dialect for stone-marten, so stone-marten cave XD).

So I was just wondering... what if the Guild on their way to somewhere else got stuck into a huge cave or a cave made out of marl? It would be a labyrinth full of long and completely dark tunnels and holes, some spaces would be big enough for three or more wolves to fit, other spaces would even not be big enough for only one wolf, so pups would have the advantage most of the time.
It would be very hard to get out of there because it would be too dark to see where you're going, just completely black, and scents would be faded because there would be no (still) living creature.
The only food would be bats and stone-marten but that would only around winter, as that's the time they have their hibernation there.
It would take hours, days, maybe even weeks (if you live long enough) to find the way out and if you go a different way than the others, you would be completely lost.

(Just to let you know; getting lost inside a marl cave was a real happened story, told by someone, about two boys, 13 and 16 years old, who got lost in one of those marl caves and were found three weeks after their disappearance. Both were dead and had wounded fingers and knees because they had looked for the way out until they died of thirst, hunger and exhaustion. They weren't able to see where they were going and ended up roaming in the darkness, walking in circles for hours until they just, well, died).

That's a really interesting idea, Mika! I think that would definitely be an interesting thing for the guild to do. Lots of conflicting characters and whatnot.

Maybe there's something down there that they need to get? Or maybe one of the pups falls down if you just want a couple of wolves? I don't know, I'm spitballing here :3

but it does seem like an interesting place to go :3
